To highlight聽the upcoming聽30th聽anniversary of democracy聽in Hungary,聽Charg茅 d鈥橝ffaires聽David Kostelancik聽delivered a lecture to聽students and faculty of聽the Institute of聽English and聽American Studies,聽 on April 10, 2019.
He described the development and deepening of Hungarian-American relations in the period before and after the regime change, and had a productive discourse with the participants where students could ask questions.
Charg茅 Kostelancik had a full day in Debrecen: he also met with University of Debrecen Vice Rector and alumnus,聽Prof. Dr. Elek Bartha, attended the Topping Out Ceremony of聽American multinational company聽 at their Debrecen facility where he also met with聽Debrecen mayor and聽International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)聽alumnus,聽L谩szl贸 Papp.
