According to the weather forecast, extreme cold stays for the weekend in several counties.Weather alert has been issued for several counties in Hungary because of the cold weather.
Second-degree weather alert has been issued in Borsod-Aba煤j-Zempl茅n, Hajd煤-Bihar, Heves, N贸gr谩d and Szabolcs-Szatm谩r-Bereg counties, while there is a聽 first-degree alert issued in the capital and in Pest, B谩cs-Kiskun, B茅k茅s, Csongr谩d and J谩sz-Nagykun-Szolnok counties.
Temperature can go below -15 Celsius on Saturday. In the northern part of the country even -24 Celsius can be experienced during the weekend. Sunday night might be the coldest with -25 Celsius.
Apart from the cold weather and snowfall, strong wind is also expected in Hajd煤-Bihar county, too.
