The Institute of Physics at the University of Debrecen has launched a large-scale programme in order to promote sciences and engineering.
The web portal Élő Fizika (“Living Physics”) at that provides news of the programme has been operating with great success. The series of talks entitled Kalandozások a fizikában (“Adventures in physics”) tell the audience about scientific curiosities and technical novelties. The Tanári Műhely (“Teacher Workshop”) created for primary and high school teachers serves as a forum, allowing continuous communication between them and university teachers. Within the framework of the programme, a remotely controlled laboratory has also begun operating. The biggest event of the talent development programme was the Élő Fizika Nyári Tábor (Living Physics Summer Camp) that was held on 18-22 June.
